Free Commercial Use Music

I know there is loads of options for channels like ncs if you like electronic music but few options for other types of music. Curious about your thoughts.

Doing a bit of research here.

( Hopefully this is in the right thread )

I have found that it is difficult to find any GOOD QUALITY music. Most of my videos feature music so this has been a struggle for me for a long time.. I've used everything from classical to hard-rock, and ANYTHING that is really good is hard to find, or is very expensive.

If you're willing to pay a few extra $$ you can find almost anything you can think of on stock audio websites like AudioJungle.net (my personal favourite.) I have over 1000$ of stock footage, music, sound effects etc. That I have purchased over 6 years. You have a license to use the stuff you download so its pretty awesome. High quality music costs around 17-25 USD on the website. Anything you're looking for that's copyright free is going to be hard.

I agree that audiojungle is a great alternative as I've used it myself when I just need something really good and quick! Not the greatest for new people to pay that for each video however.[DOUBLEPOST=1489256784,1489256685][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah it is especially if it's creative commons. Sometimes people will release one good track under that license for traffic then copyright the rest. It's a hunt for sure!

I don't think it's hard at all to find good free music. I use bensounds.com and incompitech.com and all you have to do to use those is write in your description that you're using them, and incompitech has a huge genre of music :D

I've used both bensounds and Incompitech - but they are both limited/dont have that much good quality music of the type I need.
I've been using AudioBlocks for the last year but the quality isnt always what I like and I just finished checking Epidemic Sound which has good quality, but not the selection I need so I think i will stick with AudioJungle (I just hate having to pay :-| ). .. I also have a licensing agreement with one of the biggest YouTube'ers that does covers but his selection is also limited..

I haven't tried bensounds. I know incompitech is good but now a lot of it has third party claims which you can counter with a special key but still a bit of a pain.[DOUBLEPOST=1489303404,1489299613][/DOUBLEPOST]I had a look at the bensounds site looked good but only problem is the creative commons license has no derivative works.

NoDerivatives — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

I DM producers on soundcloud and straight up ask for permission and make sure I link and promote them on SM.
