What should I get for lighting??

I try to use natural lighting for most of the time, but at my house there's a small window of time when the lighting is good, only about an hour or so. And its in the morning. I go to school on weekdays, so I only have weekend mornings to film. Sometimes I don't have time every weekend morning to film, so I was thinking about some cheap lighting. Nothing too fancy, not too bright. Just enough to not make my self look extremely orange. What do you use and do you have any suggestions?

There are actually some really cheap softboxes you can get online, plus they'll be getting cheaper for the holidays. I'd invest in about two/three of those, and just utilize the three point-lighting system
