What now?

I can't use Twitter, I've tried it like 5 times already, and nothing happened, I use facebook, but it's always silent, nobody ever does anything on it. I'm really stuck .-.

With Twitter, use Trending Hashtags. Now, don't promote your channel if it is unnecessary with the hashtag. But if you say something that someone else likes, you might get someone to check out your twitter. If your twitter has a lot about your channel, you might get a subscriber.

I would suggest using Google+ to promote your videos. Write rich descriptions of the video and add a few relevant hashtags. Don't focus on, "I did it like three times and nothing happened." KEEP DOING IT!

Remember that a meaningful subscriber is a strong subscriber. And strong subscribers (at least in the beginning) count more than weak ones. Make personal connections with people and earn subscribers through social interaction. Meet people on this forum. Reach out on other forums. Maybe there's something in your videos relevant to another forum. For example... pet videos - pet forums. If you do pet videos frequently, reach out on related forums. You have a signature -- put a link to your channel or recent video in it.

Don't be afraid to share your videos with your friends. Don't spam them too much, but if you think a video you made will tickle their fancy, send it to them directly!

As for Twitter; it's definitely more than a drop box. You have to interact. Make interesting posts frequently, and people will be more inclined to follow you. Share thoughts. Talk about your day. Reach out to more famous people by interacting with their posts. Your following will build slowly but surely.

If your content is relevant, share it on other people's pages, profiles and websites. Yes, it can be considered spam. Yes, you will have some haters. But usually, it's ok by the site or page owner, and the payout (amount of people who actually watch your content) is worth the risk of getting berated by ignorant people.

Think of Shane Dawson -- Back in the days when you could post your videos with auto-play on MySpace, he used to spam profiles like Mariah Carry's with his videos set to auto play. When people when there, his video would start going, and they'd usually spend a good while trying to find it and stop it. It's spam, technically, but look where it got him!

Collaborate! You can collaborate in person or even by having both parties record separate parts of the video and one person edits them together. Collaborating can get you really good exposure, and you get to feel good about it because you might have helped someone else get exposure as well!!

Broadcast live on places like YouNow or Omegle, and subtly promote your channel. Remember, your broadcast isn't an ad reel... so interact with the audience more than advertise your channel, but when you're in a pool of live-casters, you're likely to draw in new people! YouTube's live broadcast gives great opportunities because people are brought right to your channel and can subscribe without having to go through a second party!

There are SO many ways to promote yourself. And most of them require an active social life. It's a pretty fancy way to go ;D You're doing great. Keep it up :)

Promote yourself and get involved in all kinds of online communities, not just YTTalk.

Facebook, reddit, Google+, twitter, Tumblr. Get involved, don't just promote. And in your profile always link back to your YTChannel and keep your quality on point. Showcase your most popular videos, and create a channel trailer if you don't have one already.
