thank you so much!! it's good to know yourself and what you're doing inside and out, i think.Of course this being the first it would be the one that I would see first. But this one popped out at me. You seem to truly understand why you are here and for that I must applaud you. Most people are still trying to find what they are truly inspired and molded by. Yet you know your reasoning. This short but simple response has given me a little more insight and thought that I should be looking into this more. Thank you for your response. I truly appreciate it.
I don't eve know, mate. Why would you ever watch some guy who is playing some obscure games no one heard about, stutters from time to time bc English is not my main language, loves puns, swears from time to time when the emotions are boiling up... oh, and I never shut up xD I wouldn't watch myselfIts a basic, yet complex question. What makes you, you and what makes anyone want to watch you over someone else? Why would I rather watch you then someone with 15,000,000 subs and has almost mastered the art of comedy and making eye catching thumbnails? Let's get to know one another through this.
Haha, beautiful analogy mate.[DOUBLEPOST=1494370198,1494370142][/DOUBLEPOST]Easy question,
There are people who follow someone only because he/she is famous, even if that person is completely talentless, like Kardashians but good news there will be always people who looking for something different.
Agreed, explore your freedom.[DOUBLEPOST=1494370292][/DOUBLEPOST]We are just two normal people who talk and video our trips away to places people may not be able to get to and then if we share our experiences I hope it encourages people to get out there and do the same. Make sense? Yeah we may not be the funniest or the most entertaining but we bloody enjoy what we do and that is all that counts right?
EXACTLY! That is okay. And someday you will surpass them and they will hope you keep carrying on doing what you love to do. Most of us will stray from YouTube and others will continue. I hope you will maintain doing what you do.[DOUBLEPOST=1494370399][/DOUBLEPOST]everyone can be compared with someone better than them. No matter how "me" I am i won't surpass the expert animators who have really made a name for themselves, but that's ok, I wouldn't want to surpass them, they are my inspirations!
the best I can do is share my own take on the animation and parody genre, my sense of humour, and my art style.
some people like it, but of course they will like the bigger guys better!
Truly love the creativity and it interests me that you strive for greatness. I know you are someone's inspiration.[DOUBLEPOST=1494370526][/DOUBLEPOST]One of the things I try to keep consistent on is to only do original content. I don't review other shows, I don't react to other videos, I don't cover other people's songs or any of that. My partner and I write and perform 3 videos a week together (I used to do long hair advice, but I stopped that last week after about 125 videos on the subject) and we have about 35 regular characters we perform who all have backstories and personalities and different fan bases.
And they're all puppets. So there's that.![]()
And what an amazing answer mate. Thank you for sharing your story. Continue to express yourself and what you love doing. You seem to be excellent. Though we all have room to grow, especially myself, I know you will make it somewhere great.[DOUBLEPOST=1494370610][/DOUBLEPOST]What a good question.
What makes me me is my personality. I'm an honest, down to earth whose extremely passionate about film-making and photography. There are other things that I love like Martial Arts and Video Games but overall I just have a passion for the things I'm doing now. My content reflects who I am now and what I am trying to do. If I can make someone's day better or tell a story that relates or is entertaining then I'm doing a pretty okay job. My goal is to connect with you in some way and make you smile. Whether it be my voice, my personality, my artistic look on things, my stories or perhaps my sense of humor. Regardless of the reason.
At least these come to my mind when I think of what makes me....me.
No thanks needed from you. I love to reflect on things and this is truly an amazing way to do it. Thank you for your time in reading this and I hope your day so far has been stupendous![DOUBLEPOST=1494370711][/DOUBLEPOST]thank you so much!! it's good to know yourself and what you're doing inside and out, i think.
Never shy away from your flaws because they make you, you. And trust me, I cringe at watching myself, but all it takes is that one comment about how much they loved it that strives for me to do the next. One smile at a time. And you know what? Never shut up. Let everyone know how you feel, it's good to let it out then keep it in. Have an amazing day mate.I don't eve know, mate. but at leats, I'm honest about that stuff and not afraid to admit my flaws.
That was exactly my point there. As long as I make other people smile, I'll be alright myself. And you too, pal.Never shy away from your flaws because they make you, you. I don't even bring myself into the equation at all. When people who are fans of my channel, who've been watching it unfold for some time now, see what I do, they don't see me. They see an idea that has chosen to express itself through me. It is a vigilant stance against the gloomy, depressing, seemingly hopeless spirit smothering the planet right now. The jester was the ideal thing to explain what my channel was about and the greater cause it was designed to serve.
I have 7 mental conditions, so this worldwide burden I've described is particularly heavy on my heart and shoulders. Though it's pretty much an eternal part of life, it's renting more space than it should. Just like the pendulum swings from one end to another, so will the balance of joy and sorrow. Right now, things are looking particularly dark, so I'd say it's time to lighten the mood! That's why channels like mine exist.
I expect to be present on the Youtube scene (in my current form) for the next 4-5 (or so) years before a new champion picks up where I will have left off. My journey has only just begun (even though it's been nearly two years since I started), so there's lots to do and much to explore.
What makes me different from others is the manner in which the idea behind my content is expressed and the fact that I know my days as a Youtuber are numbered; that was intended from the beginning. It gives meaning and dignity to the labor and before I move on, the kind of spirit, mirth, and lighthearted humor I envisioned just before my channel was born will have touched the lives of millions.
It's been said that a sense of humor has been the only thing that has kept the human race from totally extinguishing itself. Having nearly extinguished myself years ago, I know just how true that is.
This, my friends, is what makes me, me.
