What makes a good video?

Liking YTtalk
I make gaming videos but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Should I buy a new microphone. I'm sure I have confidence.. I put myself out there. Talk loud and clear and ignore the haters.

I find that pausing - or what they call "dead air time" is the biggest killer. Keep talking, keep it going as smoothly as possible and that tends to keep people interested. If you are at least knowledgeable on your chosen game and can convey that across confidently, you'll keep people watching. Or if you're honest and admit you don't know but through talking to the audience you show you're learning the game, they watch and learn with you.

One thing that turned me off watching people play kingdom hearts 2 was lots of swearing I mean once or twice is ok but not in every sentance I'm sure you don't swear in your videos though so that's good :)
