What makes a "Family Vlog" Popular?

Thanks! That was a super detailed answer and I kinda knew it all already but it's great to hear it! You brought up some really great points and I hope all family's see your answer before starting there own channel. I want to earn a living of course.

What makes my family different?
- I have Twins and one with special needs. He has cystic fibrosis. Not many people know if it and I hope to provide some info for them. I live in New England, near Boston, with family in New Hampshire and Maine, so I can provide adventures in those regions. I also make professional looking cakes (I will be adding cake making to my channel soon). As far as my personality, I don't know if it is appealing or not. Someone else will have to tell me that, lol.

Does sound like you have some interesting experiences and can share useful information with other families for sure.
If you have different streams of content, might be best to organize it into playlists and perhaps have unique thumbnail designs and color schemes for the different content. So cooking, travel, family time, and information on special needs would look good as separate sub-themes and playlists on the channel. Just a thought.

Just wanted to mention our favorite familyvlog is axel show. My son likes to watch it and ive grown to like it. It is a channel worth taking a look at if interested in family vlogs.

I think family vlog are about great way to tell stories on your adventure such as travel, solving problems and etc.
