What is this and Can you even do it?

I received an offer from a company called "Network of One" to "buy" the adsense rights on one of my top performing videos. Basically, I was told that I would still control the video, but they would get the Adsense revenue from it. After looking at the analytics, it made no sense to do it anyway because I make considerably more in one year than the offer was for, so I declined. But can you even do this on YT? I would not want to do anything that would jeopardize my relationship with YT, but if an offer came out that made sense, I might have considered it.

Have any of you guys done anything like this and how did it work out?

I'm pretty sure that if you were to accept, they'd give you the money and then just copyright claim you video and start making all the money from it. It´s for the best that you declined
