What is the best editing software for gamers?

I find a Mac vid recording/editing software called Screenflow the best happy medium between user friendly and feature rich for a program somewhere between beginner-limited and pro.
Very user friendly with hardly any learning curve, and does have most basic editing options like animating the motion and gfx of pictures videos etc, recording desktop, recording phone capture, exporting straight to YouTube, etc. plus the ability to add more plugins for audio and video, including your own compressors, color grade plugins, etc I find very useful
That's just me though. I could upgrade to final cut or premiere pro, but tbh I haven't had the need just yet.
