what is a good SLR camera with.....

im a vlogger that moves a lot - and also use it for gaming - I have a d3100 nikon now but its auto focus is not good at all when I move. also it has no mic and no swivel screen

was wondering if you guys can recommend a SLR camera that has very nice HD video (d3100 i rank it like 6/10 for video) with a swivel screen for vlogs and mic output preferably XLR that would be awesome!

my budget is about 800 bucks - of course lower price the better. I saw a lumix 300fz??? its like 400, but not sure if the auto focus is quick enough for me. problem i have with the d3100 is its slow to auto focus in video mode

They aren't DSLR's, but the Sony A5100 and Canon G7X are both great vlogging cameras with flip screens and fast auto-focus. If you definitely want a DSLR then Canon has a 700D that has a flip out screen, however I'm not sure on the auto focus. I think Casey Neistat uses these and a 70D, but I'm not sure of the cost of the 70D.

I know it's a bit above your budget, but I'm using a Sony A6300. It can also record in 4K if that's what you fancy.

thanks all!! I totally wish the G7x had a mic, i would have bought one. yeah the a6300 might be abit out of budget sadly

but guess what check this camera out guys!! Its 4k, swivel screen and also as mic input!! took me about 4 weeks to run across this one. Problem is, im actually not sure if it makes those mechanical sounds while AF while recording like the nikons and canons. Would a mic cancel that?

The Lumix is a good camera, haven't used one but was looking at it before I bought my A6300. When I use audio, I use a Rode Videomic, much better then build in mics. Not sure if the Lumix has audio in but you can check easily.
