I couldn't find the function that showed the whole thing. But I just find sony easier to use for some reason, and the videos come out slightly better to my opinion. You can do this on Premiere. For a project outside of YouTube about a month ago, I created a music video to a dubstep song. It had a cut on nearly every single beat. It is very easy to do in Premiere.
This is not the fault of Vegas. Most likely your intro has a different frame rate or aspect ratio than your videos. That will happen in any editor unless you change that.[DOUBLEPOST=1376009610,1376009501][/DOUBLEPOST]I use Sony Vegas pro 10 and it's good but I have some problems with my rendering because my intro get's pixelated when I upload the video on youtube.
Its all opinion as to which is better. They both have about the same functions. To see the audio waves, you just have to pull up the audio track in the editor window thing (whatever it is called), and you can scrub over it, hear it, and see the waves.I

Well for 1080, export in 1920 x 1080 with square pixels. For the slow motion thing, check your frame rate. It is probably set to 24. Change this to 30 or 29.97. I believe YouTube is doing away with 480p support for whatever reason. It does not seem to always appear.[DOUBLEPOST=1376010033,1376009890][/DOUBLEPOST]I changed the rendering setings to .avi and it solved the problem but my video seems a bit in slow motion, jerky. And I only got 240p, 360p and 720p, no 480 and 1080p. What can I do?
After Effects is great for what it says, After Effects. It is made to be used with Premiere pro to do the extra post production effects (ie motion tracking, color corrections, and other advanced tools). It is not very convenient if you use it for the full editing process tough. All cutting and simple edits should be done in Premiere first. It is just easier.Easiest to use is Sony Vegas Pro 12 and is pretty good too. If you want some more advanced software then go with Adobe After Affects CS6 which I actually used earlier to create a volume meter animation for my newest video
