What features would make the "OneChanel" Layout more exciting?

So, I see a lot of people are debating just how good the new OneChannel Layout really is. After switching to the new layout for a brief period of time myself, I did notice a few missing things and noticed a few things that would of made it a lot better.

These are my own opinions on what would of been better..

Custom Tab Personalization: Kind of like the old, old, ooold YouTube Layout. Sure, you can have the banner art on the top but adding a personal splash of color to the Layout would make a HUGE difference on my overall opinion.

Larger File Size Requirements: I'm sure we are all familiar with the "1mb limit" on Background Art. But with an image the size of a desktop wallpaper, getting an attractive image under these requirements is almost impossible. So I would say maybe a 2-5 mb limit would make it a lot easier for designers to work with.

These tiny changes would make the new layout a big hooray for me, anyone else have something to add to the list?

I totally agree with the damn file size! it's STUPID! they give us 2MB PER VIDEO on thumbnails.. but only 1MB on banners? and banners are retina TV size! :O give us more room to work with google

I'm still getting over the loss of background. lol However, I think the trailer video box is too small, and I wish we could put links anywhere we wanted on that little banner. That's all I've got for the moment.

Yep the links are a little bit too small there in the corner

Custom backgrounds would be nice so we can add some flare to playlists.

I agree with Kendra, Clickable links on the banner would of made it a lot more exciting. I have also noticed, that there is no real defining features between standard/partnered channels. I have an old partnered channel, and when I switched it to OneChannel I had no new features that my standard one didn't have. Apart for custom thumbnails, livestreaming and things of that nature..

My banner came to 1.3MB.
I decided I'd try to upload it, and it went through fine??
Maybe they increased the 1MB banner limit due to the larger size of the banner now?

Interesting, I will have another look at it in the morning. I was experiencing many problems with it today while trying to upload mine.

Im partnered with YouTube - I dont know if that made any difference though or whether I get extra priviledges because of it??
