What Do You Guys Think Of PewDiePie Deleting His Channel At 50Mil?

It's just buzz to get some attention, I believe, why would someone kill his golden eggs goose? Probably it's the first step of a bigger operation, if so we can call it
 
Kind of a shame hes making such a joke of it. I would have hoped he would truly appreciate that fantastic milestone.
I know most youtubers would rather plan something really nice to thank their audience for helping them reach that.

He did set off fireworks with Mark and Jack on Twitter and he'll *probably still upload a video.

Personally I think people are blowing things way out of proportion and what he's doing is really clever. Regardless of what he does he's going to profit. He could delete the jse2 account and no one would really care (he also gave Jack the gold play button for the account yesterday since they're doing a Revelmode charity livestream together), what will he actually do, well we'll find out in like 4 an a half hours or so.
 
you all know this is a joke, he defo wont delete it! uyes the jacksepticeye2 one but defo not the main pewdiepie channel :D
 
i think it was just for attention, highly doubt that hes going to delete his channel because he either loves doing youtube because he likes to entertain people or he likes doing youtube because of the money hes getting...i really dont know :'D

Well I'm glad to hear that, all i am seeing in feeds is negative.
Hope he keeps making content, it would be a big miss.

ps: whoever becomes number 1 now won't have true accomplishment since pewds stepped down instead of getting legit beaten.
 
It looks like he decided to stay. I wonder if his meetings with YouTube cleared up any of the lingering questions.
The criticism he was giving was interesting to me. Would having an overall smaller channel with more active subscribers actually be better for views in the long run than a huge channel with lower active sub ratio? It's a logical question to ask.
As much as people love to hate on pewdiepie, I can respect the guy at the top and the work he put in to get there. He's clearly hard working and not the idiot people make him out to be. You just don't get to that level without a special x.factor.
 
He's big enough people will follow him wherever he goes now. Not the smartest move to delete the biggest channel ever imo
