what do i do wrong?

hey :)
dont worry im not exspecting to get big really fast or anything but there is clearly a decrease in watches so thats why i was looking for some feedback :p and yeah Adrian Marioghea i was also thinking about making it less frequent or maybe just make a combined vlog or something about a few days and then only the fun stuff lol. @TheBatteryChickenyes i live in the netherlands:p but havent been able to get out of the house much cause of the bad weather hahah XD

I think that sounds like a good plan- your content is great, but daily uploads might not be the way forward. Maybe try just as an experiment vlogging every other day? :) You could still record your thoughts every day, but then edit them down and post two days worth in one video?

hey guys so i have been vlogging for the past 19 days and sometimes put up an extra video but my last vlogs have only like 3 or 4 views compared to the 20 in the beginning.
Do you have some tips or tricks to make my videos a bit more interesting? cause it seems like im doing something wrong. Or should i just not vlog every day anymore?
I Appreciate all the help!

I did a daily vlog for a little over a year. In the beginning they'd each get a few thousand views and then towards the end they'd get under 50. I enjoyed it so I was just doing it for me... but I asked my viewers about it and they said it was just overwhelming for them. My demographic is the age where they have school on top of work. So they asked me to do weekly vlogs with just a compilation of everything that I do. It seemed to help bring more interest back to them. Something to consider.

If you upload every day you get less views. This is because your views are spread out and you haven't given each video enough time to collect views.

Over all you are probably getting the same amount of channel views or possibly even more.

First off, you started Youtube not so long ago so you can't really expect your views to boom instantly. I don't think you are doing anything wrong, it's just one of the aspects of Youtube that we have to understand. If you want to try new things there are tons of things you can do. You can incorporate some type of activity into the vlogs, show viewers something/place, reviews, and etc. The list is endless.

I, personally, would suggest collabs with other channels and doing something interesting in your vlogs rather than talking about doing it. We have quite a few vloggers here who do tags. It helps to get your channel noticed and most of all it is a fun way to meet and interact with others.

Try to think of it from a viewer's point of...view. That sounded weird in my head. But as a viewer you have a ton of videos to watch and I know I don't have to time to watch videos everyday to typically I'm backlogged until I have free time. If you have several daily vlogs sitting in my sub box it could take some time to catch up on them. So if in a week those videos don't increase in views, then you probably should change your course of action.

As other suggested, when I watch a daily vlog I like them short, concise and if the setting changes that's a plus. If you just vlog from the same room it could get stale unless you can really sell your personality.

Last piece of advice, keep trying to find a new audience, I know there is an audience for daily vlogs out there, but you have to search them out.

thanks! :D thats some great advice :P

As far as Vlogs, even if you don't do them everyday (which is quite a bit of work considering the amount of content you have to prepare everyday), you could go to a set schedule like twice a week, weekly, bi-monthly, etc. but just enough to stay active (like you would not want to have one vlog every other month, that would just be too long).

I also agree with what others say here, you can't expect to strike it big immediately, it will take time. :) And as long as you are making progress, then you are always one step closer to striking it BIG! :)

I reckon daily vlogs are probably too frequent. Not sure people want to watch a vlog being put out everyday, particularly if nothing spectacular is happening. So for example, maybe if you go on holiday and you're getting up to all sorts of things THEN a daily vlog would be good, or if every day you're going out to different places, doing different things, meeting with all sorts of friends, etc then that would make good vlogs. If the daily vlogs are always you at home just looking for something to do (I haven't watched them so I'm not sure what's in them) then it gets repetitive and disinteresting. That's what I think anyway...
Agreed, and sometimes when starting out, I don't really recommend cranking out a lot of content. I would test the waters first and of course quality > quantity.

This tends to happen a lot on my gaming series, first episodes reach 30-40 or even higher views but as you make more episodes you see that number go down fast. It's usually nothing personal, its more likely that people just don't like your videos. All you can do is just keep improving on the overall quality on your videos :)
