What do I do now?

I just made my introductory video, but it was rejected by Youtube for being too long. I don't know why it wouldn't just break it into two parts and add the suffix PART 1 PART 2. I don't have the video personally because I used YouTube's Webcam function. I see it listed in my video manager. Is there a way to download it from YouTube? If i can get the video myself I can splice it my self. Any suggestions? Does Linux have any free software that might fix this problem?
