okay so I'm looking it too capture cards again and please don't just say el gato give reasons any way I i was looking at this one by AGPtek on Amazon it's new no reviews and its on sale for $77

I wouldn't go with a product that cheap if it has no reviews. I personally use the Elgato and recently upgraded to the HD60 model. I like the Elgato since it functions just as I expected it to, it allows for good quality game capture and streaming, and is very customizable for a capture card. I've had very few issues with either model and its ease of use makes recording very simple. It has a few nifty features like flashback recording letting me record games I may not have actually intended to record which adds to the experience.
Of course the price is a major thing for many if its outside of your range you could try Roxio but I've never used one but I hear its okay but the quality is lower however that's to be expected from a cheaper product.

id go for the hauppage hd pvr cheaper than the elgato plus its really easy to use with great qaulity videos

How is the roxio hd pvr ?

I think it depends on which version you buy there is an HD version, and a less expansive version but it doesn't record in HD I believe. Also doing a bit of digging it seems like the Roxio has a lot of cords )if you intend to use a headset) that need to be kept track of so you might find that a problem depending on where you intend to put it. The software is good on the pro version (which is about as expensive as an elgato depending on where you buy). However a lot of the reviews for the Roxio lean at around 3 stars outta 5 so keep that in mind. I'm not an expert on Roxio unfortunately so you may want to do your own digging

yup, was just going to say that. I tried the hauppauge hdpvr, hdpvr 2, and the elgato... but the rocket is definitely the best. Just the fact that you can push the record button at any time, and it records onto a usb is amazing. you wont regret it.

Scratch that I couldn't get any today Amazon gave me a free prime for a month Due to me paying for 1 day shipping and it showed up like a week better. They also turned on auto renew for prime sod they charged me $100 without telling me. Now I can't but any capture til the refund processes whih sucks cause I needed the capture tommorrow.

I've been using the HD PVR2. Haven't had any issues so far, at least none that I wouldn't have with any other capture card.

But it looks like you've already made a decision.
