What can I do to expand my audience and make it larger on YouTube? I really need help cause I am trying to gain a larger audience but it just doesn't seem to be happening..

advertise, basically where it all comes down too. Google "The Small stay small, and the big get bigger" a lot of useful information in there. that is a good place to start.

Dedication and patience, now you will think "That's the biggest bull I have heard", but in my opinion it is really important.

Other than that, social media could help a bit aslong you don't spam.

(Sorry for the long post. I know exactly what you're going through, so I figured i'd share my thoughts instead of saying a couple words :giggle:)

From experience, a good way to grow your channel is to experiment with different genres. I used to do daily vlogs, and my channel struggled to find an audience. Try making different style videos, like skits, vlogs (Not the "take around" daily kind), etc.

The thing with daily vloggers is unless you have a background on YouTube, it's going to be a hard time finding an audience. (For example, Charles Trippy was well known before he even thought about doing daily vlogs. Same goes with Toby Turner, BFvsGF, Shaytards, etc.) When you don't have a background, people don't really know you. Therefor if they stumble across your videos, they are watching a complete stranger go about their day. This can affect how many stick around, and continue to watch your content. Also without a background, it makes it harder for people to find videos like daily vlogs, since most of the time it isn't really something someone is going to randomly stumble across in their search.

When I started my channel I was doing daily vlogs. I had a very hard time finding an audience. I didn't get many views, comments, likes, etc. I gained subscribers very slowly, and it was struggling. A started to experiment with different types of videos, like the videos I make now. At the time I was still doing daily vlogs, but I was also doing weekly, not "take along" vlogs. Those videos would get more views, likes, comments, etc. I started to slowly gain an audience. The longer I did these weekly videos, the more I enjoyed doing them. I found my niche, and I eventually stopped doing daily. (Not because they weren't doing as good, but because my life just isn't interesting and my videos were very boring. I couldn't do more than 6 months straight). Once I stopped doing daily I started to do weekly vlogs I do now. My channel started to take off and now i'm gaining 2-5(+) subs daily, and my videos max at around 250-400 views each. I had fun doing daily vlogs, but I don't think they are for me. My life is pretty boring, I don't do anything with my day, and so they started to become very repetitive and boring. I found myself being happier with weekly.

I'm not saying stop doing daily. If you enjoy it, continue to do it. The most important part of YouTube is to enjoy what you do. Try experimenting with different types of videos, and find your niche.

quality, its very simple, as long as your quality is good, people will come just for that sake ^^.

Search the forums (top right of the screen) and you'll find loads of information and advice. Good luck :)

These 2. I had been a little mopey about my expansion/growth - but I read the Small Stay Small, the Big Get Bigger and I'm pumped to start doing some of the stuff that was suggested in the guide to go from a trickle of subs, to a stream. In the end, it comes down to never giving up, always learning and growing, and realizing that stuff isn't going to happen over night.

That being said, I watched some of your videos - it must hurt like a b*****d getting hit by a baseball in the head.

Keep experimenting and keep making.
;)
I used to do a lot of covers, till I found my strength in original songs. :)
I also play around with length and cutting down how long the video is (depending on audience retention)
Also, I found my niche with my original songs, as they weren't tagged with fancy titles or something emotional, they were "title-less" and people enjoyed it. Now I keep going with making songs about fandoms, stuff people love, relatable stuff, etc.
