What ads to put on videos?

Hello everyone!

I'm about to put my first video on youtube and I was thinking of monetizing it right away. I was wondering if what type of ad is best to put on your videos?

Is it the one played before a video starts or the little one that is shown at the bottom of your vid?

If I missed other types of ads, what are those and do you recommend them?

I always activate every option there is (Display ads, Overlay Ads, Sponsored ads and Skippable video ads). some type of ads are generating you more revenue than the other, BUT they are not always going to be shown when people watch your video.

Especially the Skippable video ads are "auctioned" I believe and won't show up on every play/view you get.
