Watching in Higher Resolution gives higher revenue?

Hello YTtalkers,
I wanted to ask that watching in HD quality, mostly 720p or 1080p generates more revenue than watching it in 360p or 400p resolution?
Lets say I make 10$ from a video and 1000 people watched in 360p, would that 10$ have increased if they had watched it in 720p ?
Thank You in Advance

I can't believe that can be a factor.
If it was, I'm sure more people would encourage people to watch at max resoultion.

That is what I am asking. Most video I have seen have an annotation in the start saying "Watch in HD for better experience" or "Have a good net? Watch in HD" and countless annotations in the start of video so I was curious of asking this!

I think that is because the picture will be better in HD. And maybe not everyone knows how to change the resolution on a video?

No that is not the case.. I think youtubers are just encouraging viewers to watch their content in the best possible quality available.

Never heard of that, sounds quite silly.
People put "Watch in HD!" because it gets you a better viewing experience.

I know a lot of my musician friends encourage watching in HD since the audio quality is compressed as well as the image at the lower resolutions.
