Vlogging on the go

I just wrap the camera around my wrist when I go out to public vlog.. I did buy a small tripod claw thing that is pretty cool.. But wrist strap is good too when you are out public vlogging
 
I usually I shoot with a DSLR, but I recently got a iPhone 6s and am realizing it shoots better slow motion that my DSLR.... plus it's way more portable and doesn't look as awkward shooting in public. so I may start shooting with it more, perhaps get some mounts for my body and maybe the car..... stuff I couldn't do with my DSLR..... was thinking about getting a GO PRO, but I can basically get the same mounts for my iPhone 6s.... and the boys really aren't jumping in the water too often, so maybe I'll just invest in some iPhone mounts instead for on the go / action shots... much cheaper than a Go Pro
 
Make sure you guys take selfies and show how perfect are you with your friend. Also show the places you visit, did you buy anything? Are you planning to go for movie? How awesome was your day?
 
I thought I would add to this if it is ok. I use a Canon G7X and a Joby Gorillapod - It can get noticed by several people. I am not a serious VLOGGER, but I had to do a few in December while I was away.
Your welcome to check them out if it helps. I am by NO means an expert, but to be honest, I was more comfortable holding the camera than the phone! Not too sure why.

I certainly tried to get aspects like that in the video :)
