This really depends on your audience. I'd recommend taking a look at the geographies show on your analytics page. If most of your audience is from an English speaking country (UK, US, Australia) it won't help you much to translate your videos (assuming you speak English, can't really check your videos right now). If you don't speak English, then yes, translating would help you to reach a bigger audience.
My first few videos I used Google translate to translate my titles and descriptions into 15-20 different popular languages. I saw a small uptick in viewers from some countries, but it was extremely small. It took forever to copy and paste all that for every video, so I stopped after the first handful.
Google Translate works great for this because it doesn’t interfere with text formatting, so things like html links in your video description don’t get translated and mangled and will still work.
