Views going up but no likes or subs?

This is weird. Lately this month I have been getting at most 200 views on my popular videos. But I posted up a video that I thought would get at most up to 50 views. It actually got to about 1.4k views in 5 days. The views are going up everyday but not the likes or my sub. This usually never happen to me, i would at least get 2 dislikes lol. This ever happened to anybody or know what's up?
 
I've heard from a lot of people that YouTube is having a change around at the moment and people just aren't being directed around YouTube the way they used to be,
also, subscribers aren't seeing the content that you post as much.. It just seems a bit messy to me, I'm not sure whats going on, I kind of feel ya' (on a smaller scale)

Great question there are two simple answers.
Like @AmberAndGolden said above, YouTube made a mistake (so far what we suspect) in their algorithms which means that some big YouTubers are losing subsribers when they upload automatically and also subscribers won't see their videos on the front page. So your subscribers aren't being notified when you upload a new video correctly.
And by statistics subscribers are the main source of likes/dislikes/comments. And new viewers tend to not like/dislike/comment or subscribe if the video isn't top end quality that they truly enjoy. What I have seen as well on my videos is that some of the subs/likes/dislikes pop up after a day or two.

There is something strange going on with YouTube and I think it's going to be fixed by the end of next week hopefully.

There is nothing to worry about if your content is high quality and your audience enjoys watching it, the likes/dislikes/subs and comments should increase soon enough.

I hope I wasn't too all over the place and you got a bit of context about what's happening.

Great answers guys! It was just weird because I recall seeing 25 likes at 300 views and now its at 29 at 1.5k views.
 
Another thing to keep in mind, though, not many people ever really think to Like or sub to a video, when it's the first video they've seen of your channel. It's typically the subscribers that leave the most engagement on a video. But, if you want to keep outside viewers engaged, you gotta help them understand why they should want to like or sub.

There are also people that like to purchase view bots and test them out on other videos, to see if they work. They'll often target a small video with slow growth, and then unleash the bots on it to see if it does as they want. That's also a possibility.

That is pretty scary. It could be view bots but I also hope it isn't.

As all the others have stated YouTube has been out of wacky lately. I get okay views and low subs but I'm pretty new. but congrats on all the views it's still an awesome achievement!
 
Don't worry about it buddy, subs and likes can be weird. Two days ago I got only 4 subs for a couple of thousand views, yesterday I got 22 subs for the same views and this trend has been going on for a while. One day you will get plenty and the next not so many
