Views from embedded links doesnt count as views?

Hey guys, I just found out recently that views from clicking play in your signature and promotion in the videos section of this forum doesnt affect the views in the official youtube website?

Is there a workaround for this? :(
 
I thought it does as long as the embed player doesn't auto play, the view will count and show under analytics and embedded player. It might just take a while to update.

Does it also count even if i just paste the link in my signature? I dont use the embed found in youtube because it doesnt work in this forum.
 
The view count on youtube has been kinda sketchy lately, like for me my total view count only updates every thousand views or so, I'm not sure if the site is working on stuff right now or they just update it less frequently as they used to
