View counts dropping...

Hey guys.
I had a recent jump in subscribers on my channel thanks to a friend adding sub requirement for a giveaway. That's cool and everything, I gained about 130 subscribers in a few days and they've started trickling down again as expected. I figure if I end up with more in total by the end of it all then that's fine by me. It's exposure.

What's strange though is my view counts have dropped. I used to advertise on Reddit and I'd get 100 or so views in a lot of my videos but I decided to stop that since it's not really sustainable. This caused my views to drop to about 50 or so which is what I expected but my last 3 videos have dropped even further. The quality is much the same I think. I quite like what I'm doing overall and keep getting good feedback. I think it could be the games I'm reviewing since it's a bit of a slow spell for big name gaming releases and therefore the games themselves aren't interesting enough for a click. This might be the case (I hope it is) but in the meantime is there anything else I could be doing to get a bit more out of them?

Thanks a lot! My channel is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcPzsHOiJG68at0W_M1OSDw.

It's possible that it's the games, we are in a little bit of a dry spell. Also, what do you mean you "advertised" on Reddit? As in spent money? If so, yeah, that's generally not sustainable.

But if you mean you just announced your content on Reddit... well, you're gonna have to do that. And not just on Reddit, either, but many sources. Spread the word out there for every video- you're work is only halfway over once the video is uploaded.

No I didn't pay! I just meant throwing the video everywhere on Reddit. I use Twitter and Facebook but I just dislike using Reddit for it so much. Feels like... dishonest views? Or something.

I've been at 500 for 7 months. The most I ever got in one month was like 250-300. But I haven't been really trying to grow
But I wanna get back into it, and try to spread my videos with other people

Nothing dishonest about it at all, as long as you're not spamming or being obnoxious.
It's a bit weird. I've always been quite uncomfortable with the whole advertising thing. Maybe you're right and I should continue with it. All I was doing before was finding SubReddits which were related to the game or franchise that didn't have a problem with it and posted it there. Do you guys have any other techniques for Redditing?

I also really need to comment on similar videos too. A few friends have found that helps a lot.

my views have been dropping as well, i have been still growing, but i averaged about 2,000 one month, and than now I'm at like 1,500 or something.... but still... its not cool
