View count Problems?

I think there is something wrong with youtube's view counter, because every time I press play on one of my own video, it gains 1 view, even if it's just for a couple of seconds and even if it's in edit mode, that can't be right, and it's really annoying.

YouTube has an unimaginable amount of videos being pumped into it every hour. It has so much to keep up with that maintenance, especially where views are concerned, might not be their highest priority. But anyway, I'd say that for the most part it's pretty accurate.
