Video starts blowing up and then dies?

I posted a video 3 days ago and 2 days after I posted it, it was getting up to 6,000 views an hour. Then, it died randomly and now it's staying consistently at 600. Any idea why this happened?
 
Well since it's been 2 days, why not first check your analytics where you were getting your traffic from? I would specifically choose which video to analyze by using the search bar on top after going to "Traffic Sources."

I could think of many reasons why a video would suddenly stop getting views. But it's better you check the source of traffic first.

Shouldn't this be in the SEO form of it's about getting a video higher in the ranks and staying popular?
 
Any more help with this issue? Basically what happens is that my video is showing up on the side of really popular youtuber's videos. How do I make it so my video shows up longer? One of my videos was showing up for like a week and it got 2,000,000 views, but I can't do that anymore. Is it watch time that determines if the video randomly stops showing up in suggested videos?
