Thanks for an actual answer. I think it must be this. I stayed up last night to watch the real-time results come in. No viewers. Wake up this morning, and suddenly 41 views added between midnight and 2am. Odd that the real-time analytics are misreporting the views like this.

The fact that it's midnight points towards a technical glitch. I often see big gaps in realtime stats, only to have big spike a few minutes (or hours) later. My conclusion has always been that it has missed reporting past data and then suddenly it catches up.
