Video got claimed! D:<

So I just uploaded a vlog where I used some background music which I got from the free youtube music library.
And now it got claimed by some other channel saying I used third party music. Even tho its from youtubes own library which is allowed to be used in monetized videos so I don't get the problem.
So now im going against it and they say something like that if they don't agree with me then there is a chance my channel might get shut down and deleted!
Argh why does youtube have to be such a big fail sometimes?
Others having these problems aswell?

Counter-claim it. You'll be fine. It's just super-irritating.

They totally should! its time Youtube deals with the problems themselves for once instead of putting it all down on the youtubers.

Yeah, just dispute it.. that's a flaw in their system if the music is in their own library. #DumbYouTube

It's a problem with a company's poor Content ID management which solely relies with them and not YouTube. Although Content ID is YouTube's tool, the copyright holder agrees to only ever put video/audio that they have exclusive rights to.

If they abuse Content ID purposely or with intent, YouTube takes action against them.

If you were going to file a lawsuit against someone, it's the claimant.. not Google.

But seriously, this needs to get over, fast. This affects anyone who simply uses music or an image in their videos. So only vloggers are safe. Everyone else, especially gamers, are in danger.

the person who gave the song to youtube, DID not make their actual video on youtube royalty free, its the persons fault not youtube.

Lol and I'm a vlogger so even vloggers arent safe haha
