Video Editor wanted!!!

You're getting a lot of hate for this request because we all do YouTube. We all know how much work goes into it and how out of line it is to ask someone else to do all of the hard stuff.

However there is light at the end of the tunnel. You have found the right place to help you, but it will require work on your part. This forum has ALL of the resources you need to learn how to edit video, edit audio, find free software to use, come up with ideas and yeah, even find someone to help you maybe with designing a logo or something along those lines. The thing is, you have to put in the time to justify it. You can't just show up and expect anyone to drop what they're doing to make your channel magically appear.

I'd start by becoming very familiar with the search function. Search for free software. You'll find editing programs that you can use. You'll find instruction on how to use them. Then, when you have better nailed down what it is you want to do, you can ask people for assistance. YouTube is hard work. It's rewarding in many ways, but it's hard work.
 
Ok GnomeCast, thank you for your advice, would you mind contacting me or something because i would very much like your assistance, don't get me wrong i will gladly put in the work myself, it's just that i need help doing it because im not really great at editing, i know the basics but im more of a hardware person than a software, but i'm more than happy to learn this.
 
Start with what you can do, then build off that.

I had no practical film or video experience when I started. I am an accounting manager, not a video pro. But, I wanted to make videos. So I started with videos edited in-camera, meaning I had to shoot all my shots in order. If someone made a mistake, I had to rewind the camera. If I wanted music, I had to play music on a boombox live in the background.

Then I RTFM (read the f*****g manual).

Turns out I could use something called Windows Movie Maker, which was free and already on my computer. Turns out I could do audio overdubs. Over time, I learned more and more, moved on to more sophisticated techniques and programs. This doesn't happen overnight.

Do your homework. Don't outsource the editing, learn it. If you don't care to learn it, then do what you can with what you know.
 
i can use programs like Sony Vegas and Photoshop etc... i just don't know how to utilize them to their full potential and what not, this is what i need help with

That's what I did when my friend wasn't about to help me
 
As many have said, it is going to be difficult to get a decent person to do it for free.

You can find lots of good tutorials in this forum, the Recording, Software & Hardware forum and on YouTube itself, there are so many tutorials on how to use programs like Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas, Premier and alike. Good 'ol Google is your friend. :)

I guess going to request section can help you with the images but you have to learn video editing yourself

I'll edit a video or two, if you like. Take a look at my videos to see if you like the style of editing and what-not. I'd look for shoutouts and payment in YTTalk Cash, but that's all :)
