Whats the best software/website etc to edit my raw videos? I want to be able to add transitions as well as some other good features for my videos

I use Cyberlink Powerdirector 11. It's a really good program and they give a really good student discount if you're a teacher or student. check out my "Dogs Playing: Powerdirector 11 Special Effects" video if you want to see some experimental effects. Most of my videos after August 2013 are edited with that program.Whats the best software/website etc to edit my raw videos? I want to be able to add transitions as well as some other good features for my videos

Echo of the previous clip inbetween each cut. That's the only downside though.

The down side is that it's not free but it's a very good piece of software

The programs I recommend are very expensive, have quite a high learning curve, and they can do just about anything you will imagine if given the time to learn them.Whats the best software/website etc to edit my raw videos? Adobe Premier - Highly recommended if you're putting clips together to edit.
Adobe After Effects - Not best for just putting videos together, better for post effects and ect.
Sony Vegas Pro
Final Cut Pro - Mac Computers Only
The free ones you can use are good but they wont do anything on the scale that these can do if given the amount of effort needed to master them.

I've used Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas and HitFilm Ultimate - all three work well for editing.
Strictly as editors - Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas are stronger editors, however, if you want / need to do any effects or compositing moving forward - HitFilm has the advantage of being a hybrid editor / compositor so you don't have to export your video out to another piece of software. The workflow between Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is similar.
