Video editing software

You do know there's a butt load of free editing stuff out there?

Yes I know.
I find Movie Maker a lot better/convenient (for me, at least.)
It's just itself, no demo, no time-trial, just... itself.

It's pretty s**t compared to a lot of the free or open source stuff though, you should look into them! Good editing software greatly imroves videos :)
 
Really depends on your budget.
I currently use Adobe Premiere Elements 12. I got Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 for 69€.
It's not too bad but coming from Premiere CS 5.5, 6.0 and CC test versions, it definitely is a step down.
It works very stable, is very well structured and you can even do things like colour correction on a basic level.
Just try out the test version.
