Video Creating Issue

I've Got It
Okay, so I was originally going to post my first youtube video, which is a top 5 rpg, 2 weeks ago....BBBUUTT everytime I find myself almost done with merely the audio aspect, I didn't like the way I sound. So I re-record the audio for the video atleast 7 times. I just don't like how I sound in these videos. Despite me trying to sound upbeat, I don't really sound like someone in their early 20's. My brother said that it's probably due to me starting off, and being uncomfortable with recording my voice for the first time, and that I'll probably get more relaxed as I do more videos. I always want to give my best in these things, but I just wanna get this done, and work on other videos. But I don't wanna give out cruddy work. But I could always build off from that video, and improve. Did anybody else have this issue? How did you get over it?

My best advice is just go for it man, Everyone sounds different.
I hate my voice but I'm getting used to it after posting so many videos, so I say just keep posting! :)

I think perhaps you need to just roll with it. Do your best, upload the video and let others decide if it's good or not. The secret to good commentary is making yourself sound a bit like a radio presenter: try and be relaxed and natural but don't speak like you're mumbling to mates; project your voice (don't shout or be fake or you'll sound like a dodgy infomercial instead).

Thanks! I'll take that advice :D

I was really nervous about recording my first video so I just gritted my teeth, got partially drunk, and recorded that sucka! :p

Well, I try to inform about each game in many aspects (Number 3 was a doozy, audacity kept crashing on me, deleting my work even when it was saved. And since that game was like 2 1/2 minutes long, YEEEA x_x)

A lot people don't like the way their voice sounds recorded, myself included. YouTube is a way to get used to it :)

It's funny. I find ALOT of youtubers sound pretty fine. I guess we're always our worst critics.
Yeah, but I'm a voice actor for my animations O.o Luckily, my brother/ partner likes his voice/ voices and feels comfortable doing more.
