VidCon 2014 - How was it?

Michael

I Love YTtalk
Hey so I haven't spoken to anyone or seen anyone post that much about their experiences at VidCon this year, how did it go this year and did you have a good time? What went on and what part of it all did you enjoy the most?

Share your experiences here :D I would love to know what it was like, all I know about is the keynote and the new features. Got any pictures to share or videos? I would really love to see the keynote feature speech but I dont know if anyone was allowed to record it, I had a search the other night on YouTube but nothing came up.

Gonna tag some people I believe went there this year:

@Wreckless Eating @Shane.C @markkaz @randomlilnikki @BookOfKen

Good enough :P

Got to meet some interesting people.
The industry lounge has some good wifi :D (better than my hotel :( )

Some of the industry panels were pretty boring though and alot of them on the first day were running 20-40 mins late..
The YouTube panel was also good, though went on for like 4 times longer than scheduled :P

@markkaz think I heard you at one panel yesterday, did you ask a question to a channelfrederator rep? :D

Yup, that was me. The reason that I asked is because Frederator has licensed properties that they get made into merchandise that is available at regular retail stores. I said that my channel has 100K+ subs, 10 million views a month, so that's a path that I can viably pursue. Of course, it was after that session that the Russian network approached me =)

Loving the pictures @markkaz you lucky bugger :D Its good to hear from you guys what its like, I never realised its still going on and you guys are still there. I am the same I would really want to go as part of a holiday to LA, that would be an awesome two weeks. It is so crazy thinking about you guys meeting each other in person, even being in the same room together.
