I was on one of those sub4sub, view4view sites making money on them. (I DON'T submit my videos to these sites) So anyway I was making money liking videos people submit and a VEVO video popped up meaning that VEVO or the artist used a view bot.

Anyone can put a video on those sites... Duh...

Anyone could of submitted that video for "botting", and making money for liking people's video? Now that sounds amazing. xD

people who like a certain artist or what ever, take the time out of their day to bot them for some reason, to make sure they are "on top" in a sense. Mostly crazed fans.

If I remember correctly, there was an article I saw where big major record companies, such as the likes of VEVO and Sony, were actually fined for using billions of fake views to boost their videos. I'll have to find the article.

And yeah as Sinc said, anyone could purchase views and likes if they really wanted to for that channel. Bit dumb though if you ask me.

They probably do it because of the ads. If you get 500 views for dirt cheap money how much revenue would you make
