Vegas 12 Text

I downloaded a font from dafont.com and put it into the windows font file folder andddddd it is not showing up when I choose a text to use in vegas 12...it always shows up in vegas 9 but why isn't my font in the list for vegas 12?

make sure that the font is not in a zip file and is installed correctly. whats the name of the font?
