Using Twitter to Promote

I have seen someone say, use twitter to promote your videos. How would I go about doing that, what do I do to utilize it effectively. Could someone help me

spam the f**k out of his tweets by posting your link in the reply.

you will then be loved and famous and people will not want to dislike your videos

I tweet about 1 time every day about one random video on my channel, and include a link to the video, don't throw tweets like every hour since it will be seen as spam.

that's actually a really good question! i've been wondering about it myself as well. right now it works more for following people i find interesting, than getting followed for me

They worked for me I got about two retweets from one video (my signature video)
So, hashtag your video, just like when you tag your videos
