Uploading late?

I've Got It
What are some of your past experiences when uploading late (at night)? Do you see any change in views or does it even out the next day?

My upload time doesn't seem to matter at all in the long run. The reason may be that my audience isn't that young and generally a bit subscription lazy. So my uploads don't get lost in their feeds.

I think it does make some difference to try and upload when the bulk of your subscribers are awake, try and hit the ground running (snowball views, likes and interaction for the algorithm). Until you get a few thousand subscribers I don't think it would otherwise matter too much.

Yeah, I don't know, it probably helps out some algorithm to upload at the same time every day, or at least helps with a sense of consistency. A few times, I had to upload six or seven hours later than usual, and I ended up getting like 50% of my normal views

I do not think it matters. The reason is that you can have subs from around the world and different time zones do not allow you to choose the perfect upload timing.

As I'm in the UK, I tend to release close to midday. Therefore I'm in at a good time for UK subs and one of the first to check out for my US subs :)

It would probably be best to upload at a time when the majority of your subscribers are awake. 1. Because then they can watch your content as soon as possible at a convenient time, and 2. I read that YouTube gives your videos kind of like a boost in the listings during the 24 hours after it is posted and then that boost-like thing just goes away again and it falls down to your views/subs. :)

It doesn't matter in my case, the video will be watched by approximately 200 people before it goes down into the abyss of old videos.
