Upcoming Changes to MCNs & Monetization for Network Partners - Affiliate and Managed

Well if it turns out to be true, that it will take 2 days before a video is made public because it has to go through some stuff first, im gonna be screwed.

I make league of legends videos which is all about the news in the game.
Having to wait 2 days for a video like that to be public and the news value of it will be gone aka no-one will watch it :/

Alright. So if you're not with a network things are just going to stay the same? Well, let's see how this turns out... :/ Good luck to everyone. lol.

You only have to worry about this change if you're uploading content you're not allowed to post.

If it's truly back to adsense review for everyone, it denies people monetization frequently whether they're allowed to post that content or not.

I had a game review video (Back in the days) where just 1 person was speaking into his webcam with no music, no gameplay footage and it was denied for monetization with adsense. Even after a repeal it was still denied. So let's hope that this will not happen to everyone else when they are going to do that.

I got asked to provide permission for recording some collectors edition content in a box, via my phone. I think if it goes back to adsense a lot of people who actually do YT for a living will be fairly angry since they survive off it and it's their livelyhood. Like 1 person on here said too, if doing news related things, by the time the video goes public it's too late.

The same goes for pre-release indie game content. Which often involves the indie dev having sent a copy of their game to be reviewed.

Yeah I think alot of people will stop youtube (Bigger and smaller) and we go back to that time people just post gameplay as a hobby (Don't monetize it, because it will be turned down). People who make a living of doing those games just really are going to have a hard time.
