They didn't take any videos down they were blocking them. Also they have every right to block them whenever they choose to, since it's their work. People look at the word "Copyright" but fail to look at some keywords that take nearly all control away from you, they are "All rights reserved" meaning che copyright holder reserves, or holds for their own use, this means theoretically they could ask you to remove a video but would allow you to keep the commentary (obviously commentary being copyrighted by the creator; us). Also to clarify something for people, regardless of fair use laws, YouTube has it's own policies in place that require you to either A) own the copyrights to a video you're uploading or B) have permission from the copyright owner to the footage you're uploading. Technically we are on YouTubes services which they own, therefore we have to follow their policies. It's not a matter of law but policy, unfortunately.
