Twitch.tv

How many of you gamers use twitch.tv to promote their channel before my PC broke I found it a really useful tool for attracting new people to my channel and interacting with people who already followed my channel.

I believe their is another website called younow(?) that could be used for most other categories for live streaming.

I pan to use it once I get my graphics card in

Twitch CAN be used to drive people to YT, but I find it better as an entertainment medium all on its own. Like Gaffer (and Pearl) I prefer streaming to pre-recorded commentary these days!

You Now is good (although you can't stream games). I gained 11 subs in 25 minutes on there recently.

I use it, used to have more subs and views than on YouTube, now the other way around.
I'd use YouTube streaming if it didn't suck.

I don't use it at all. I can't animate that fast :D
You should do like a live episode which could be like a bringing the scenes thing that is interactive. Kind of like the Make a Strip panel at PAX. If you don't know what that is, they make a penny arcade comic right there live at the panel.

YouNow is amazing! It can seriously increase the amount of subscribers who will stick around due to your personality!

You can stream what your desktop shows, right? I've thought about showing the animation process as it goes kind of thing. Good idea?
