A major Japanese TV network (TV Tokyo) purportedly wants to use one of my YouTube videos for one of its programmes. They've asked me for my rate.

Anyone know where to begin to handle such a query?

Social blue book gives an estimation on one's value, although i cannot understand how it works (measures). You can enter your channel or other social profiles you got and if the rate they 'give' you pleases you, guess you can use it with a reference to this "value" of yours. I mean not negotiable as long this is the lowest rate you can ask?

Tell them your rate! Say 1000$ because I’ve worked on JTV and if they really want it they will pay it.

Oh and tell tv Tokyo to retract the copyright strike they put on me

Maybe ask questions first and make sure its tv tokyo, even a simple question like where your video will air can help figure things out.

I’ve seen that show. You should get a few hundred at least. I say go for it! And say you can always deliver more. Let me know when it airs too
