I've Got It
So yeah I had an argument with someone on twitter and her and her girlfriends now religiously dislike my videos and I always have 5 dislikes on my videos. I've turned off my ratings so no one can see but I dunno what else to do =/ I've even though of making a new twitter and closing down my current one but I have 750 followers and I don't want to lose them. I've protected my tweet for now and I'm going to see if that changes anything but then I won't be able to connect with brands and use hashtags =/
 
Dislikes are as good as likes. It's feedback nonetheless.
And would you let 750 people down because 2 of them decided to be rogue? smhtbqh
 
This once happened to me with my old channel!

What I did was turn off ratings for a few videos. After 3 videos, they got bored and went onto other things and I was able to turn ratings back on.

Dislikes still count towards you as engagement on the video, therefore making it rank higher on google search. If it bothers you so much, just block them on Twitter and YouTube. Good luck!
 
I have blocked the on twitter xxx oh really! I always thought dislikes but you lower! O_O well bring on the haters! ha ha thank you so much guys you've cheered me up <3
 
We all remember this particular phrase. "Haters Going to Hate."

We can't prevent the spread of hate but this is all that can be said at this moment in time, we all wish that things can only get better. Don't knock yourself down because people decided to be mean or harsh, your channel is just now thriving and so is your Twitter, keep your head held high and Keep Moving Forward.
 
Bah I've had someone try to troll me, you just have to keep on keeping on. Everyone has had some form of people who disliked them at some point. It's how you handle it depends on the impact it has on you in the long run.
 
Don't sweat the dislikes. Dislikes are counted as engagement exactly the same way as likes, so whoever is trolling you is actually doing you a favor. You can sit back and laugh every time they think they're "hurting" you. :)
