Trippy Superhero etc effects

I plan on making a video that is about having a drink, and then getting superpowers and stuff being trippy like things aside from me moving in reverse.

Does anyone know any filming or edit techniques that match what I am describing that I may not be aware of?
Like how to make it seem like gravity is shifting or something?

The craziest technique I've seen is one that David Lynch used in a couple of his movies. What he would do is have the actors say the words and record them. He'd then play the words backwards and have them memorize what it sounded like. He'd then have them say the words backwards as they're walking backwards etc. Record that and then play it forwards. It was super cool. You couldn't tell what was going on. You just knew something wasn't quite normal. Had to look it up online to see how he did it.

Jump off a tree limb (backwards if safe enough), then reverse the clip to make it seem as if you are jumping onto the tree limb. (Hopefully it isn't a very large tree, with some lower branches.) Then cut to you standing on the tree limb looking down and bewildered.

I get producer credit if you use that one kthxbye. ;)

For the "trippy" effect, it may look cool to have the camera slowly sway back and forth while recording and then in editing duplicate the layer a few times, but turn down the opacity. Then space the layers so they have a small delay between them and you may achieve the "That 70's Show" effect when they would get high. I haven't tried this yet, but it seems like something that would look pretty close to a "trippy" effect.
