Total Views compared to Monetized Playbacks

The Bassment

Posting Mad!
I get around 1,800 views a day but only 450 monetized playbacks (Analytics > Ad performance > Estimated Monetized Playbacks). Around 90% of my views are on monetized videos.

Is this ratio normal or am I getting an unusually low ratio of views / monetized playbacks?

My ratio used to be really low, because most of my views came from mobile devices.
since they've added adverts to the mobile devices my ratio has gone up, but not extensively.

Its still a bit... week.

This is a bad week to estimate that, given the monetization bug :-/

Well this has been the case for a long time, it's only since they got rid of the "monetizable views" stat that I started to take notice.[DOUBLEPOST=1371038596,1371038526][/DOUBLEPOST]
Keep in mind, YouTube may sometimes simply be low on ad inventory - some of your "monetizable" views may run with no ad.

I think this is probably the case. There was a large difference between the old "monetizable views" and the current "monetized playbacks", I'm guessing caused by monetized videos not having an ad placed on them.[DOUBLEPOST=1371038708][/DOUBLEPOST]Would anyone else mind sharing the percentage of their daily views that typically count as "monetized playbacks"? Obviously you don;t need to give concret numbers, just the fraction. Would be good to know if I am missing out on a lot more monetizable views than most people for some reason.
