Too Excited?

Everyone always gives the advice that you have to appear enthusiastic when making your content. Is it possible; however, to ever be to enthusiastic or excited? To the point where it turns viewers off.

It seems like I'm the only person who ever thinks this way, but definitely yes. There have been countless videos I've left in the first few seconds because it was so annoying.

Enthusiasm can't be faked. It's so annoying watching a video when the person talking is clearly putting on a personality or trying to appear much happier or energetic or whatever than they actually are. It just comes across as false, and that is off-putting.

It's easy to tell when it's just the "on camera way of talking" and being a giant faker.
