Hello everybody! Willem here again, and this time, a couple of tips on sharing and promoting your channel! Here's a check list of what you should and shouldn't do!
Don't:
-Spam people's in-boxes with "Check out my channel" messages, in fact, don't send any at all! It just makes you look desperate and needy.
-Promote your channel or video in comment section of other videos.
-Sub for Sub, there aren't any consequences, but you'll often find that those people that subscribe to you will "unsub" in a day or two, after receiving a subscription from you! Also, they won't watch your videos, and don't really care about your content!
Do:
-If someone says something positive in the comment section of one of your videos, be sure to say something like "Hey if you enjoy this video, be sure to check out my other, and even consider subscribing
" just try and act very easy and not pushy.
-Try and do stuff for other youtubers with bigger channels than you. Even someone with 10 more subs than you can give you credit, and their subs, will often check out your channel after given a shoutout by that channel! (Easiest ways to get shout-outs is by creating thumbnails, intros and graphics for other channels)
-If you find something you're abnormally good at compared to your other abilities, work on that! Youtube videos thrive off of uniqueness, or just pure ability, for example: A video where you get a MOAB in mw3 will get more views than if you just got a pavelow. Make sense?
-Always be nice to other members of the community of YTtalk, and youtube! They'll often check out they're channel if you're a nice guy!
Well, hope that helped everyone!
