Thousands of inactive channels :0

I'm sad to see good YouTubers go, but as Frankie said, it weeds out the people that aren't too serious about it. Give us a better chance, no matter how small of a chance that is....

Also, people get bored easily. That's the internet for you I guess! I have noticed the same to be fair, some of my favourite channels have been 'busy' or less interested in their channels lately. Not small channels either we're talking like 20k subs.

People grow and their priorities change or they just don't have time. Some people get bored. I figure I have 40-50 hours per week that I can devote to all of my chores/personal endeavors/non-family-related recreation. Most adults I know have fewer than that because they have kids and such. Putting 3-5 of those hours per week into scripting, filming, editing is not exactly a small commitment, and that doesn't include watching other people's videos in order to stay engaged with the community.

It's sad that they leave, but I bet it's usually for a valid reason.

That's why i collect good "usernames" channels for myself. That has been going since 2009 and i don't intend to stop whenever there is a chance.
