This is really getting crazy. Has YouTube gone nuts?

Google\YouTube is having an extra bad streak of stupid lately. Constantly breaking things, then fixing them, then breaking other things. The slow Subscriber count update thing (which is really just normal since I'm sure they've changed how they're updated), the Single Playlist thing, now my Channel Art is shifted to the right for some reason after they fixed the Single Playlist thing. I can't stand it anymore.

And now this in my Analytics: "We undercounted views from April 29th through May 12th by about 2% and on May 14th by about 10%. We will be adding those views back in over the next couple of weeks."

Seriously, WTF is going on with them? How do you undercount views? IT'S A FREAKING COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM.

Start getting your S#!+ together YouTube. You're really starting to p**s me off.

It's a massive site remember, filled with millions upon millions of videos all getting views most of the time, even a computerized system would have trouble getting them all counted instantaneously, also as ninja pointed out, it's free. I wouldn't complain too much about a website that lets you use it for free and even earn money from it.

I guess I am just easy going because I don't have an issue with any of that. Most of the time in life it isn't the problem that is the problem it is how we react to it.

What's going on!? First, I notice my video views drop from 100+ down to like 30, and then my sub count is just going nuts, up and down! And now I see youtube says "We undercounted views from April 29th through May 12th by about 2% and on May 14th by about 10%. We will be adding those views back in over the next couple of weeks."

I'm really confused. Anyone wanna help me out and tell me if the sub count/view is gonna be fixed? :o THANKS!

I've merged your thread with this one :)[DOUBLEPOST=1400259274,1400259098][/DOUBLEPOST]For discussion on the sub count, there is a sticky clearly labelled at the top of the forum: http://yttalk.com/threads/sub-count-is-stuck.124063/

Be aware that regularly on YouTube the stats will "freeze" while Youtube is auditing them. This happens regularly, it's not a bug and it doesn't really warrant a new thread :)

And all of this for free...
Google is a billion dollar company. They set their own standards and we have expectations that their website performance meets them. The fact that there have been so many problems in the past couple weeks is concerning. And they're making way more money than we are from the advertising we allow them to put on our videos. So it's not really completely free.

While this doesn't affect me, think how all these bugs can affect people who make YouTube their main form of income. A whole section of my channel disappeared with the Single Playlist bug. If that happened to another channel and it buried their most viewed playlist for 3 days that's a lot of views potentially lost unless they dig deeper through the channel tabs.

We expect a quality of service from YouTube. They should be expecting us to hold them to their standards.

Not only this, the like button is broken now as well. Sometimes when you click it, it says that the video was liked, refreash the page and it isn't liked. Now people need to refreash the page (sometimes multiple times) in order to like a video which just CANNOT happen. I've noticed a small dip in likes recently, now I know why.
