thinking of starting over....

so i've been thinking of starting over again
its mainly because i feel like my channel drifted away
also i wouldn't call my subs a fanbase (85) as most of them only watched a video or two and its because my videos are so diffrent from each other
also i've been thinking of starting to talk in my native language because i am not as energetic or as happy when im talking in english when i talk english i sound grumpy and bored

the thing that's scaring me the most is that i wont be able to reproduce my youtube small success and that if i make a new channel it will fail

what do you guys think ?

If you feel that's what you need to do then go for it being big on youtube won't mean anything if your unhappy with how things have turned out. Its also unlikely for you to grow anymore if your unhappy with the content you produce. In the grand scheme of things 85 subs isn't to big and bouncing back will be a lot easier than if you had 1,000. If you do start over I recommend trying to focus on one thing or if you really want to branch out set a scheduled so people know what days to expect certain content from you so your subs will be more inclined to watch. A channel needs some kinda of certainty.
As for if you'll fail its possible, part of youtube really is luck and you do lend yourself some risk by starting over however like I said your not super big yet so you could get back to where you were in less time now that you know how to grow properly. Speaking in your native language also opens up a whole new audience but be aware that you will also loose an audience as depending on the language you speak you've lost native English speakers who don't know or aren't fluent in your language. Obviously its your choice but keep in mind some of the stuff I've mentioned. Good luck :)

thanks for the advice i should be able to produce quality content as i am now more experienced in video editing ect

If starting over is what you want to do then go for it! I've always thought starting over was a bit much and preferred re-branding instead, especially if your new channel will have the same sort of content e.g. gaming - That way you get to keep all your current subs!

Like the others said! If you're unhappy, just do it! :D
I've been thinking about as well! But I've decised that instead of deleting my current channel. I'm gonna keep that as a like: Unserious second kind of let's play channel! And then make a new channel and take that more seriously! :D
