Well, I have to admit. A lot of people do think they're YouTube experts on this forum. Very defensive.

As for the message of your original post, good on you for sticking up for Gamers. There's no point in people hating on gamer channels just because they don't like that style content.

Really now. First off, Leafy was not the first one to do what is known as a commentary. I've seen plenty of videos before Leafy even got popular do the exact same thing. If you're talking people who look up to him as a source of inspiration that have videos similar to leafy. You're wrong to put them all in that same group. (Granted I'm not a fan of them either.)

It happens all the time. The thing that matters is that they do it in a way that is different from Leafy. Whether that be through the topics they cover, personality or both.

You never saw leafy before leafy made videos because he was the first one of himself, since then there has been many Ripoffs.

Well I agree with TYHD, there are a lot, i mean, A LOT, no i mean EXTREMELY many many many gaming lets play youtube channels. If people want to create a lets play channel, go ahead. But be original, STOP using dubstep 3d intro's and copy cat others. Oh and also, stop asking when you'll get paid by youtube with less then 100 subs O.O.

The only people who are offended by this thread are generic lets players or leafy Ripoffs

Btw you can just put "Tyhd" it's not all caps just my logo is
 
Still don't see the issue with having a generic COD LP channel with dubstep intro...if that's what you want to do.

My channel is a rather generic sim racing channel...and that's what I want to do, so that's what I do.
