Hi Guys! Today I am going to discuss with you the best video editing software for Windows as well as Mac !
In my opinion if you are a beginner than you can start editing with either iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, and If you want improve yourself and get to the next level then go for Camtasia Studio 8 on Windows and Final Cut Pro on Mac ! I personally use Windows so for me Sony Vegas Pro is the Best ! I prefer not going directly for a expensive software like Adobe Premier Pro or Sony Vegas if you aren't best in Editing ! Thanks for taking your time to read this thread ! Give your Opinion Above by polling the Best Software ! ;)

Premiere Pro kills Vegas without a doubt, unless you're literally just recording your footage and rendering it without editing. I'll never go back to Vegas.

Also, you've got After Effects mixed in, which I would argue is not video editing software, but FX software (hence the name.)

I agree After Effects is a FX program but it is also used as a Video Editing by many YouTubers !

"Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should" ;)

I have/do use both, and I find After Effects to be really terrible at video editing. Premiere Pro, on the other hand, is terrible at good effects :)

But it is Expensive[DOUBLEPOST=1414401842,1414401788][/DOUBLEPOST]I may try to get Adobe Premier Pro once I reach 200 Subscribers! :woohoo!::winkphones:

I personally started editing with iMovie, which I was okay with until my friend introduced me to Final Cut Pro X which I LOVE. As for the rest of the programs on your list, I've heard good things about Premiere Pro, and unfortunately don't know too much more about the others!
